Let’s face it. Cell phones are designed to do about a million things and, admittedly, many do a great job of taking photos. Now, think about a compact camera. It’s designed to do one thing and do it well. Most are designed and manufactured by companies with years of experience in photography. They know what’s necessary for a great photo. And, they have their own high standards to live up to. After all,these companies are selling other cameras for $1,000 and more. They need to be sure that every camera in their line-up meets your expectations.
